Mural Painting: Prayers for Paris

This Sunday morning as we say our prayers, Paris is foremost on our minds. Paris, the beautiful “City of Lights” fell under attack two days ago. I first saw Paris as a small child. Living in Germany, where my father was stationed for the U.S. Air Force, my parents made sure we traveled and saw as much of Europe as possible. Although just a young girl, I can still recall that the city of Paris was alive and vibrant. Her views were simply breathtaking. And, of course, her food is totally superb.

With my parents and little sister, on top of the Eiffel Tower, 1971 :

Today’s art blog is dedicated to Paris. Our prayers and thoughts and love go out to her citizens, our friends-allies-and cousins in freedom.
