Faux Painting: House of Sand and Sea

Faux Painting: House of Sand and Sea

Southwest Florida is amazing! A true paradise! Some of us are lucky enough to live here all year long, but we welcome visitors. In fact, tourism is one of the biggest industries in SW Florida. If you haven’t visited here yet, grab your swimsuit and sunscreen and head on down to the southern sunny side of the U.S. For guide to our tropical oasis visit: http://www.southwestfloridatravelguide.com/florida-beaches

Our sunny Gulf Coast was the inspiration for this SW Florida home. Starting at the entry way, the tone of the home is set with gentle blues and greens faux painted onto the dual level tray ceiling:

As you enter into the entry side room the entry ceiling colors continue onto the tray ceiling and are blended in with a soft metallic sand beige:

This rooms walls are complimented with a tone on tone faux wash picked up from the rooms matting around tropical art work:

The living room tray ceiling is faux painted in beachy sand tones:

The guest room focal wall is painted in underwater tones allowing the art work to pop:

The master bedroom is a relaxing retreat with the headboard wall painted in Sherwin Williams “Underseas” and the ceiling tray faux painted in deep metallic water tones:
