Everything old is new
again. If you’re transitioning the kitchen to a fresh farmhouse-feel, a great
starting point is the pantry door. This pantry door was transformed with a
rustic faux finish. Faux painting can offer the look you crave with a much more
affordable price tag than purchasing a new door.
The base color on
this particular creation is SW6241 Celery. The aged look was created with a
mixture of Faux Effects red/blue/ochre/ deep blue/ a pinch of black and clear
glaze until the mix was the right shade of umber. To seal the effect, the door
is painted with CV500 UV Dull Urethane.
