Eric and the Magical Electric Guitar
Music is magic. The
creation of sounds, beats, tones, and tunes cast a spell on the listener. Music
evokes emotions of memories past or conjures up new emotions ready to burst
from our very soul. I’ve always been in awe of those with God blessed musical
talent. To me they’re like wizards waving a wand. So, I was super excited when
Wild About Popcorn decided to have an all time great, possibly the greatest
electric guitarist, Eric Clapton painted on their wall at the Ft Myers
location.
Downtown Ft Myers
features Music Walk Night every third Friday of the month. Thanks to Covid,
that event has been derailed most of the year. But word on the street, literally,
is that it will resume this November. And Eric Clapton is ready! He’s featured along their musical tribute
wall. You can see him bright, bold and colorful even from outside. Of course, you’ll
want to go inside and have your photo taken next to him while you enjoy
popcorn, ice cream, and perhaps a little wine. (Yes, they do occasionally have
wine and popcorn pairings!)
Wild About Popcorn in downtown Ft Myers is located at 1512 Hendry St. Just follow your nose. They’re already open for business. So with or without Music Walk Night, you can enjoy their magical popcorn creations and the tribute to Eric Clapton and his magical electric guitar.
