A Cat on a Hot Tin

The tin ceiling look is hot right. There are both the real tin ceiling tiles and the plastic fake tin ceiling tiles...Or… instead of having the trim molding removed and replaced during the process, there is the option of a faux finish tin ceiling. It’s a multi- step process and you’ll be sure to get a great shoulder work out. The end result is stunning. (No cats were harmed in the process. The home-owner’s gorgeous ball of fur was more interested in playing with paper balls and the painter’s tape)
Tile lines were
created by measuring the grid and then taping either side:
Next the stencil
circles are applied followed by the smaller intricate pattern stencils.
For this lighter
shade of tin, I used Valspar color Bay Waves with a light silver glaze on top:
