Serenity Now
In 1997 the cult
classic sitcom Seinfeld show aired its 159th show titled “Serenity
Now”. The character Frank Costanza is
advised to say “Serenity Now” in an attempt to control his anger and lower his
blood pressure. If it were that easy, we’d hear “Serenity Now “echoed around
the globe at the moment.
A client in the process of updating her home on an incredible property in Manasota Key is remodeling a lounge area into a reading room. Her love for the lotus flower, sometimes referred to as the water lily, and her collection of Asian art pieces was the launching pad for a commissioned painting for the room. The request for the art piece was to combine Impressionism and Realism, the tranquility of water, and the pink lotus flower.
The painting titled”
Serenity Lotus” is on stretched gallery wrapped canvas 30” x 30” with the images painted first
in acrylics and then troweled in clear plaster. The result peaceful, serene,
and durable:
