Mirror-Mirror
When its time to make a change in our homes and give it a much needed face-lift, some pieces can be difficult to replace. It maybe a favorite piece or furniture passed down through generations. Or,perhaps, its a piece that just happens to fit perfectly in its space and due to its "ginormous" size and weight would be costly to replace. That was the case in this stunningly carved framed mirror. The piece soared around 7 ft in height. The weight- well, Hercules might be able to move it. In this case, the client used a glass company. The former interior was revived from dark heavy Tuscany to white and bright with comfortable tones of driftwood. And that was the challenge set for this intricate frame work.
