Mural Painting: Time
to Hit the Beach
Visiting the white
sand dunes of the Pensacola Beaches is one of my favorite childhood memories.
The sunlight sparkling like diamonds on the water, waves crashing, the smell of
tanning lotion, and of course miles and miles of undulating sugar sand. Now days
the beaches for me are a little further south here in Florida. Those of us who
live here, feel blessed to live in paradise. The beach is happy, relaxing, and
soul reviving. Its no wonder that beach scenes are highly requested as custom
murals. Recently I was commissioned to pint a 3D beach scene. Hope you love it
as much as I do ( and the home owner does too ! )

Wood dowels and hemp
twine are placed into the painting, then painted on to create the fence:
Dried reeds are used
in the same manner in grass:
Once complete, the
mural is given a matte clear coat for protection and to seal in the placed
objects:
