Mural Painting: Shake Your Tail Feathers!
One of my personal
favorite subjects to paint is birds. They are beautiful, colorful, and a great
way to add movement in murals. Living in sunny southwest Florida it’s no
surprise that clients usually ask for tropical birds. So let’s shake some tail
feathers and take a peek:
Lanky egrets bookend
a console:
Flamingos add a
splash of pink in both a residential and a commercial mural:
Adorable sandpipers
run along beach scenes:
Burrowing owls on
garage door:
Birds in flight and
majesty and movement:
Occasionally a bird’s
feathers can be made of plastic though, like this cute rubber ducky in a
child’s bath:
