Mural Creation: ELCHS
Part 17: Criminal Justice
Hero, that’s the word
for this week’s blog. Being a hero means facing adversity or danger even in
moments of weakness offering courage strength and self- sacrifice for the
greater good.
Every day our Lee
County Sheriff’s department and City Police Departments demonstrate this for
those of us living in gorgeous Southwest Florida. So it was with excitement and
gratitude that I painted the Lee County Sheriff’s Badge in larger than life
scale at East Lee County High School: http://elc.leeschools.net/
The Criminal Justice
Academy is just one of the many academies offered at ELCHS. To learn more about
the academies offered, visit: http://elc.leeschools.net/Pages.aspx?ID=56
ELCHS is located in
Lehigh Acres, Florida which is protected and served by the Lee County Sheriff
Department (http://www.sheriffleefl.org/main/ ) and the Fort Myers Police Department (http://www.fmpolice.com/
) . So both departments will be represented in the upcoming Collage wrap mural.
