Part 4: Medical Academy
The medical field has
been paramount in every civilization and society. From witch doctors to brain
surgeons and everywhere in between, those who can provide healing are among the
most revered. I know all too well and all too personally the gift healing hands
can give. I am eternally grateful to the pediatrician and pediatric Pulmonologist
that saved my daughter’s life. Then many years later the Oncologist who would
save my own. So I must admit that I had great joy and a lump in my throat as I
painted for the medical academy at East Lee County High School ( http://elc.leeschools.net/

The school held a
logo design contest among the students. I painted the winning design larger
than life along their corridor.
Further along the
hallway, an anatomy figure reflects the ROTC
values.The mural project is
