To an artist nothing
is more exciting than color. Lots of colors. All colors. To a consumer, nothing
could be more important than finding exactly what you want and exactly where
you need to buy it. And when these two worlds collide, it’s – Perfection.
The gorgeous location
of Cape Coral, Florida is nestled in SW Florida. We have brilliant sunshine,
some of the best weather in all of the United States, and the most breathtaking
sunsets. What we don’t have are skyscrapers and huge neon blinking billboards. We
consider this a blessing. Well, until you need to find a location. Most of our
city buildings are, hmmmm, lets call them lack luster. Beige boring stucco buildings.
Occasionally there are some exceptions. Those exceptions being business owners
embracing having eye catching - color popping street murals. Consumers can find
them amongst all the greige (kinda gray kinda beige) other buildings they are
elbow to elbow with competing for attention. It was a thrill to be commissioned
to paint the side of a building in rich saturated almost day glow colors. The
building is next to an empty lot that will be a few years before development. The
business, VidaCann, decided to take advantage of the opportunity and let
everyone know where they are located. So, if you headed into Cape Coral via the
South bridge (Cape Coral Parkway Bridge), or flying overhead in your personal
plane to land at Paige Field, or perhaps even flying over in the International
Space Station you can now see this colorful bold mural:
Because of city and county rules, names are not allowed. Instead, the VidaCann logo is painted as the palm tree top :
